I inquired about the next Oscilloscope releases. She replied the next two will be The Tale of King Crab and The Velvet Queen, although release dates are not determined yet.
I'm a little unclear on the email regarding the 5.1 mix on Shortbus. Will the new disk be sent automatically?
I read it as they wanted you to let them know that you wanted a replacement, so I just replied to their email saying "I would like a replacement" and they responded with "Sounds good. We will put you on the list."

To begin, I'd like to let you know that you will notice a change in our limited edition digipak packaging moving forward. For those of you who were members during the last release, you know that we experienced exorbitant delays with our production. Due to this, we have chosen to move our business over to a new packaging printer. We will still be producing a cardboard digipak, but now it will feature a 6-page standard gate fold instead of the 4-page single fold. This means more space for beautiful stills, art, essays or other printed extras or an extra disc and a more sturdy package overall, something closer to our earlier releases. The new digipak will also no longer have the pocket disc holder that so easily tears and does not hold the disc snugly. The new version features a plastic disc holder so your DVD or Blu-ray will be nice and secure. The overall package will also be slimmer than before, meaning more room on your shelf for O-Scope titles! We are excited about this update and we hope you will like it too.
The next releases are slated for December. They will be THE VELVET QUEEN and THE TALE OF KING CRAB.
In reassessing our packaging, we also re-assessed our pricing. You’ve been saying for a while this deal is too good to be true…well, it is! Rather than scam everyone and go belly up like MoviePass, we’re making an adjustment to continue to give you the best deal possible without lighting our own house on fire. After November 18th, the COT price will increase to $140 for Blu-rays, $120 for DVDs. We recognize that this is a notable overall increase but it is still a discount of over 50% per disc (and you will continue to receive gifts and other perks). You will not be charged extra for your current subscription, only for renewals made on or after November 18th.
Finally, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you all that I will be leaving Oscilloscope at the end of this week. Your new COT point person will be Cera Soma, our wonderful office & shipping manager who started with us earlier this year. She is super nice, smart and a shipping pro so you are all in good hands. Does anyone know if Poser will get a BD release? Do they typically release all their movies on BD eventually? I rented it on Vudu a couple of months ago and loved it.

Poser should have a BD release. All Oscilloscope titles usually get a Blu-ray and DVD release. I noticed The Arthouse films also sold via their website only seem to have DVD formats.

The Velvet Queen, and The Tale of King Crab dated for January 24th according to Deep Discount. Stanleyville also up for pre-order at Oscilloscope (but not DD) so presumably the same date. I missed Velvet Queen in theater, and heard it was great, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Oscilloscope just posted a trailer for "Moon Garden" on their YouTube page. Looks absolutely brilliant. I simply cannot wait to see it, and will check it out in theaters if we happen to get it around here.
Anyone been getting their movies shipped being part of the Circle of Trust? I haven't gotten a single blu-ray yet and I subscribed maybe right after short bus was released.
Or is this something you gotta email them every time a new release is approaching?

It's automatic. Only 1 movie has been released since Shortbus (The Velvet Queen) and the release date was only a couple weeks ago, so maybe they're running a bit behind (plus there's a new person in charge of CoT). The other 2 releases dated for January 2023 seem to be a bit delayed.
