The Metal Blu-rays I'm waiting for...
Eagle Rock/Eagle Eye(whatever), needs to release DIO:Holy Diver Live, and Evil Or Devine. Rhino needs to release Heaven & Hell @ Radio City! Maiden needs to release The Early Years, and without question, Live After Death. I'm sure Metallica will do their next one in Blu, and maybe their prior releases too? Whitesnake's last one. Not that Satriani & Vai are "metal", but I'd like their stuff in Blu...maybe RUSH:Exit Stage Left? KISS is leaving $ on the table if they don't double dip KISSOLOGY in Blu. Though they really need to get better source material.

P.S. The Halford BD, I thought, was very disapointing in terms of PQ/AQ. I guess he or his backers didn't want to invest in really making that a worthy BD experience? It's really no improvement over the dvd.

I hardly watch the ones I have at all. I much prefer to just go see them if possible. Too many distractions in the house for me to sit through one. Anyway...

I'd like to see a Rammstein one for the sheer spectacle of it. They can also throw their vids on there in high def.

Blind Guardian put on one hell of a show and I think it would translate well to HD.

Manowar would be killer.

I'd love to see bands like Saturnus, Immortal, and of course King Diamond do one too.

Ya those would be good.

Arch Enemy comes to mind. They are one of the few metal bands that release their live DVDs with DTS tracks.

I agree with ya Psychonaut

King Diamond with some Mercyful Fate selections would be great....It's just that I would worry if he did one now seeing as how he can't quite deliver those ear piercing screams anymore....I remember listening to 'Them' and being floored

Ya, some old school Venom would be a beautiful thing. Black Metal was one of the first heavy metal albums I heard back in '84 and I still hold it near and dear to my heart.

He's still a great showman even though I would like to hear him flawlessly do the vocals from Abigail but he's still performing so I'll take what I can get. I've only been able to see him once with Mercyful Fate and he did a great job. Once his back heals, I'll be sure to see him again.

Oh yeah, some lucky dude was wearing an original Don't Break The Oath shirt and King asked him to take it off and hand it to him. He them wiped his makeup off on it. I would have that shirt behind glass so fast...

The problem with Kissology and Rush:Exit Stage Left is[afaik]they were shot on videotape so there isn't much that can be done as far as upgrading them to HD[the audio though is easily upgradable].

I remember reading that he is done with Mercyful Fate...He is only going to use the King Diamond moniker for now on...I know Give Me Your Soul...Please came out a couple years ago under KD so maybe it's true...The last MF was 9 I believe.

I'm not sure what Live Shit was filmed on but both shows would be unreal on blu!

However it looks like they've just filmed a few shows in Mexico City and in France. HOPEFULLY they were done to be released on blu.
