French version Birds of Prey

Hi,

I own the 4K Blu-ray of Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).


When I scan the barcode or enter the EAN code, I am only offered the Dutch version, although it is also the French version.

Is it possible to add the French version with this code? I have other films where it is exactly the same case when I scan the barcode, I have the choice between the French and the Dutch version. I can give these examples of films if I need to.

I wouldn't worry much about it,
because most of the time, they're the same division, especially with Warner Bros titles,
a lot of times the French's manufacture for the Dutch/Belgians or vice versa.

had it last month with my Man of Steel 4K, even tho it's ordered from Amazon NL,
it had French written on it, with Dutch & English also on it.

It's with most of my Warner Bros films that I noticed this.

And as I put my scan via the application of the site in French, it was to know if the staff could update this film.

There is the same problem with Zack Snyder Justice League. The EAN code of the sleeve is the French version and the EAN code of the cover is the Dutch version.

I just created the entry for the French edition, you'll have to wait for it to get approved and then you can add it.

As a contributor here, it always gets my goat when people post about new discs on the forums don't take the time to submit an entry for it.

I think the issue is that it's a release that has EAN that's available in different territories, so when they scan the barcode with the App they're given the option to only add the Netherlands release to their collection, but if you manually import the UPC or EAN you're given both that and the French releases.

It can be confusing as I have a few Scandanavian releases and I don't know which release to add as they're often the exact same release over multiple countries from that region.

But I'd like to see pictures of the cover to see how it looks.

And the scan on my phone doesn't work, I enter all my films manually. So I have no choice but to choose the Dutch version. I like to have in my collection, my 100% French films being French. Or American if some of them can only be found in the US.

By the way, is it possible to do the same with Zack Snyder's Justice League? To add the French version please. EAN Code: 5051888257548.

That one already has a database entry, but it's got a different EAN.



Not sure why there are 2 separate editions when they're basically the same (4K+BD in standard keepcase), I'm assuming Amazon sells both the french and dutch/belgian editions.

It's strange because I'm only offered the Dutch version. That's why I ask if it's possible to add the French version.
Strangely enough, a lot of DC Comics movies are like that. Batman Quadrilogy, Birds of Prey, Zack Snyder's Justice League and probably others.
I can't put a picture of the application in the message, I don't know if it's possible, but when I type in the EAN code, I only get the Dutch version.

You'd have to enter the French titles through the website itself if the App only offers the Dutch releases. I don't use the App to update my collection just the site. Just search the titles with the country's flag selected and add them from the drop down options.
