I thought so that’s too bad considering the naked gun transfers aren’t as great as the tv series police squad the films are a spin off too.

Well, you never know. Eventually, most everything will get a remaster for streaming, but disc is another thing.

Considering it's Paramount I wouldn't be surprised if the first one at least gets an UHD release either from them or a boutique label (Kino or Shout!).

I hope at least The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear will be released in 4K this year and later we will have the whole trilogy!!
