Star Date 2024 they need to release a few other boxsets to lead into the bigger set.

I've only watched the first two movies since, by the time I actually got the TNG set they'd started to announce the 4Ks of TOS. I knew these were coming. I can hold off until then.

The theme for this is beautiful music.

Though I think the music for most of the Trek films is mostly great for movies 1-10, with only 3 exceptions (IMO, III where I can't even remember the theme, V didn't have the money and Insurrection I just think is meh - it suits the opening montage but a great Trek theme it's not).

The title music he did for FC ranks up there with his very best work in any case. Utterly majestic.

Conversely, I’ve never been much of a fan of the main theme for FC. The actual score itself is very good, but I always felt the main opening theme sounds like something from a British period drama.

Hopefully Paramount will continue the tradition they started with the TOS individuals and use original cover art, and not the above.

LOL! You’d think the people that did the TBA artwork would have at least taken the time to do the original artwork like the TOS sets.

Yeah, it would go better with the first six movies. Why rehash the old blu-ray covers (which were terrible)? Give us something good (like this).

Just a tad, really all the Next Gen films are flawed beasts, too war like. TNG was all about trekking not warring. Actually Insurrection, everyone’s least favorite is the truest to the tone of the show.
