I highly doubt it'll come that early for the US.

It feels kind of weird buying a box set when the series is not finished.

True...but with all the payoffs and underhanded back ally deals I might just get the set and hope for 6 and 7 on the Blu...

Why the doubt for an 11/16 US release? Just curious. From what I've read, Warner's been committed to this set for some time. I'd think WB wouldn't want a much later release if they intend to clean up for the holiday shopping season.

Well...smack me in the head and call me a biscuit.

Why is Tuesday the day for releases in the US, anyway?

BTW---does anyone else rely on Amazon's email notifications for new releases? I frequently sign up for them but just realized I've never actually received one.

Tuesday releases mostly have to do with shipping. Monday would not work considering no shipments will arrive on Sunday.

Actually it all has to do with Tuesday being the slowest day of the week for retail stores, and new releases generate foot traffic.
