LOL I would've seen it either way, besides a lot of movies explode out the gates with a 100% on RT.

And after 7 reviews!!!!!! I give it 40 reviews until some jerk tries to make a name for himself my giving it the lowest score possible. It's probably the same guy that loves Uwe Boll movies.

95% probability Armond White gives it a Rotten rating. The other 5% is a probability that he's the biggest douche hogging up precious oxygen today.

Nice to see Half-Blood Prince with a 100% "fresh" rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Now, the hype is starting to intensify, I can't wait for the movie!

When I was a supervisor at a movie theater a few years back, we had groups dressed up as their favorite characters for HP5,I'm serious(these were mostly grown ups,not kids mind you!)! I like the films but not to that extreme! But HP 6 looks great from the trailer, why HP7 is gonna get the Che/Kill Bill (two films) treatment is beyond me, they could make it one film like the others.

There's too much to cover for just one film. Two films is certainly necessary.

Agreed 100%.

But come on, there's only 7 votes so far. Let's see where it stands when there's 40+ reviews.

Yeah, 7 reviews is not enough for me. An average of 8.2 is not bad though. And 977 votes on IMDB made it an 8.5.

I loved the first 2 movies, but i'm not a huge fan.

This is my favorite book in the series. The reviews I have read have been positive, but we will see.

I may go see this just because there's not many films that have impressed me this summer.

Not a big HP fan though.

. This is my favorite book in the series so I'm pumped. I'm glad to see all the positive vibes thus far from people who have seen it because last year the early screeners for it terrible and I was getting way worried. 8 days to go!

This is not true at all.

The real reason is so they can get more done (2 movies at 2 hours each is better than 1 movie at 4 hours) and have a larger budget to cover the same material. And it'll be more profitable (this way, they get you to pay twice to see the whole story). They could absolutely tell the whole story in a single film, this is just the most economic way to handle it. Don't be surprised to see them cut together into a single movie once it hits home video.

The RT review is good news, considering the bad press the early screenings had gotten--
Mostly from the core book fans who said "Hey, wait, why isn't
[Show spoiler]Dumbledore's funeral
in the movie?" (Uh, because they're probably saving it for Movie 7A?)

And as I'm only halfway through Book 7 at the moment, I'm still not sure why we're getting two movies, except
A) They're afraid of a three-hour movie, and/or
B) Warner's STILL stubborn about originally wanting to make "Goblet of Fire" a two-parter because it would be all Matrix-y and Pirate-y Cool, although history shows it worked better as one mercifully condensed version.

(Although Book 7 could also be mercifully condensed too, and would probably be only 300 pages if they just cut out JK's insistence on stating, restating, and summarizing every plot point at least three times each, so we don't miss them.)
