Anyway i Have to put Grave of The Fireflies way up there on its own. This movies changed the way i view the world and war. War is not good man. Think about the children. Indian in the cupboard: This movies connected with so much when i was child. It made feel okay about my attachment to my toys. It encourages the power of imagination. The true bond between a boy and his toys. this movie made me deal with the fact that other kids thought i was weird because i used to talk to my toys. Angels in Field: I'm child of divorce... and this movie made me feel special when i felt rejected. Akira: I saw this one when i was very young. ![]() |

You haven't mentioned your movies yet. I want to know what movies changed your life/or the way you view the world.
You know you are correct sir, I forgot to list mine? Crazy. Where to begin? Growing up we (meaning my family and I) never went to the movies. Times either were tough, or maybe it just wasn't what my father wanted to do. Anyway, when I was 15 I left home and started the summer of I believe 1991 living on the streets! Part of the time was spent sleeping in my girlfriends shed, and the other was at the movies. At the movies I would sneak in, blend in, and spend almost the entire day there. I would see every movie it didn't matter what it was. Air conditioning, darkness to take naps, and sadly enough leftover snacks a plenty. That summer I fell in love with the movies. Comedies, Action, Drama, Arthouse, Horror etc...I loved them all. So for me to answer your question, it's all movies just about that have changed my life. They saved my life. The Butterfly Effect
I can't say it really changed my life but it does a good job to illustrate of of the Bhuddist philosophies that I live by. Basically for all good things in life there is a balance of bad and for all bad things there is some good. Accept the situation don't dwell on "what ifs." |
