It mentions the English dub will be included, do we think they’ll recognise the international audience as Eagle did with CODA and provide English subtitles? It would be great to not have to rely on a stream or award voters offloading screener copies.

Hmm I'm torn. I kind of like having the original German title on the front since it's a German film.

However, I don't think I have a single German mediabook that has an English-language booklet inside. So it might be nice to wait for that alone.

I have 201 bonus points there by now: Doesn't apply with this one lol (and pre-orders in general I think). Dear Capelight, why the f should I order this at your shop? Maybe take a look at how proper bonus systems work instead - Arrow and rarewaves being examples.

Usually I don’t see the point of mediabooks unless it has a bonus disc or it’s the only release of the film or the only way to get the 4K version. However, if I read German and could read booklets I might get the appeal more, so this would be a nice change of pace.

For me personally, I just love the packaging itself. I never read any booklets that are included with blu-ray releases either way. But I love the shape/size/format of the mediabook over a plastic case by a long shot. I go out of my way to buy a mediabook more times than not.

My rankings of packaging:

- Full slipbox (Plain Archive, Arrow Limited Edition, Second Sight Limited Edition)
- Mediabook
- Steelbook
- Plastic case + slipcase
- Standard case

The exact opposite of mine!!!
- Standard case - Takes least space
- Plastic case + slipcase - Takes a couple of extra millimeters due to a bit of cardboard
- Steelbook - Takes about as much space as a standard, BUT has an idiotic paper slippy thing tacked to the back or back, wrapped around the bottom and part of the front), with the barcode and specs on it, and of course WTF do you even do with it? Fold it in half and stick in the case
- Mediabook - Won't fit on a standard shelf and take too much width
- Full slipbox - The stupid cardboard envelops with glue at the bottom that can scratch or leave residue on a disc and are difficult to get out of
