Default Set up help 5020, SC 07, PS3 & Dish

What the best way to set up my home audio?? I have a Pio KURO 5020, Pio SC 07, A PS3 & Dish Network sat.... What would you suggest how I should run this??

Right now I have everything going in to the 5020 (PS3 & Dish), then I'm running my Digital Optical out to the SC 07 for the Audio. What would you suggest???? Is this the best way to set up my system??

This way when I'm watch a regular TV show I can just have the Kuro 5020 speaker sound, but when I want the Movie experience or watching a game... I put on the SC 07.... What would you suggest?

hey, why not run everything to the SC 07 via HDMI cables. Then run one single cable to the kuro? This way, the receiver handles all the audio and passes the signal to the tv? Make the SC 07 the brain of your home theater. This way you dont need to be changing back and forth with audio from tv and receiver. and you can get of the logitech harmony remote (if you dont have one already) to do all switching for you in one touch.

I hooked everything in to SC 07.. I'm trying to upconvert my Component Signal to a 1080p signal. It keeps saying "NOT SUPPORTED" What's that mean???

Also how do I get all of the program format (speakers) to show up???

sometimes, component are limited to 1080i even thou it can support 1080p. that could be a reason. not sure what you mean about program format speakers? are you talking about factory installed formats/calibration/etc? anybody else know?

What I'm reffering to is say when I put in a Blu ray. All of the speakers that I'm using in 7.1 light up on the display screen.

If all the speakers arent light up, am I getting the same sound that I would be getting by the receiver processing the stereo & changing it into 7.1???
