Default RIP Tom Sizemore

I just saw on the web that he had an aneurysm due to a stroke he had on February 18th and that doctors caring for him told his family members that there is no hope and that it's time for an "end of life" decision. That is really sad to hear, I will always remember him for his role in Saving Private Ryan.

I know that Tom Sizemore is near death, when someone posts something like this they provide a source from the internet.

This man was featured in some real gems.
Thoughts, prayers, well wishes for his family and loved ones.
Reminiscing on his films and I'm truly flabbergasted we didn't see more from him.
I was just recently speaking praises of Strange Days | 1995, of which he's an integral character.
From there, I can recall his impact in films like Point Break, True Romance, and Heat.
Even though his roles were not leading or even supporting, he made such a tremendous impact with his authenticity.

Understandably, I know he'll be remembered for films like Saving Private Ryan, Heat, Red Planet, Strange Days, etc.
One film in particular that is certainly not his best film, but is still interesting to revisit because of the hilarity that ensues within it, is Big Trouble | 2001.
Sizemore was underappreciated for his comedic contributions to films, but it seemed like in Big Trouble they opened up a door for him to be taken less seriously, which presents some irony given that his character
[Show spoiler]holds on for dear life to certain death at the end; clutching the nuclear bomb as it sinks to the bottom of the ocean

News is breaking Tom Sizemore has passed on

RIP Tom will always enjoy your classic films

Quote:
Tom Sizemore, best known for his roles in military action dramas Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, is dead following his hospitalization due to a brain aneurysm. He was 61.

On Friday, Tom's manager Charles Lago confirmed his death to PEOPLE which comes two weeks after the actor collapsed after having a stroke leading to the aneurysm. Since Feb. 18, he has remained in critical condition in a coma and did not regain conciseness.

"It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore ("Tom Sizemore") aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph's Hospital Burbank," his rep said in a statement.

His brother Paul Sizemore and his twin boys Jayden and Jagger, 17, were at his side.

Point Break, Heat, Saving Private Ryan, Strange Days, True Romance, Devil In A Blue Dress. One of the best supporting actors there was. RIP.

R.I.P. Such sad news.

Aside from his films, I loved his "Robbery Homicide Division" TV show (though it was cancelled quickly).

Rest in peace Mr. Sizemore.
I always liked him. Time to fire up The Relic and True Romance
