Default How many 4K movies do I need before I have enough 4K movies?

I bought my first 4K player last summer around July and I love it. And now, I love it even more ever since I bought my new Sony OLED TV back in October. So, I've been trying to build up my 4K movie collection. I have a lot purchased digitally, but now that I have a UHD player, I want more movies on discs. I have around 30 movies so far and still feel like I don't have enough movies on the format. And because of that, I feel like I still need to actively go out and buy more. I keep saying to myself, "why buy a 4K player if I'm not going to own enough movies?" I would think at 30 movies now, I would feel like I have almost enough, but nope, I still feel like it's too little.

So does anyone have a magic number and can tell me how many movies is "good enough" and will make me satisfied and happy that I have enough 4K movies in my collection?

Try to avoid getting sucked into the must buy everything mindset. Just buy your favorites and things you think you'll enjoy + don't worry about how many movies you own in comparison to other collectors.

Keep collecting fun and buy the movies you will want to watch over again and like. Less clutter in the house.

This is very close to the right amount. However, Rumor has it that 53 is the actual desired number for a happy life. 42 may be the "sweet spot" (if I'm being kind) but 53 is the real party.

143.
That way, I'll have one more than you.
But if that's too daunting, 42.

The actual number is 69. Now if you'll give me 68, I'll owe you one.
