Can someone explain the free Pixar rebate form? - Blu-ray Forum

OK so I bought a Panny BD60 from Amazon. It says:

Get a Free Disney movie from Panasonic with this mail-in rebate when you purchase an eligible Panasonic BD60 Blu-ray Disc player and qualifying Disney movie. Limit one redemption per household.

And here's the link for the rebate form.

I've read the darn thing over 10 times and still don't get it. I send in my UPC and the receipt from the player but there is no mention of the BD title I'm supposed to buy in order to get one of the free titles. I'd like to buy Bug's Life and then get Cars for free but I just don't see any instructions for qualifying Disney Movie.

Anyone?

Since they don't specify any particular Disney Blu-ray Disc, you may as well follow your plan of buying a player and A Bug's Life. I would probably circle both on the receipt, although they don't mention the need to do that for the disc. I agree it should have been clearer.

The promotion is called: Panasonic A Bug’s Life Promotion

I would guess you buy the player and A Bug’s Life

and you choose from the three titles listed as your gift.

Have both items on the same receipt.

From what it looks like...they are going to send you a random title.

At least...that would be my guess from reading it.

Well It's been almost 4 months and still no free BD. Anyone else try this deal?

Re-read the back of the form. It probably says, "Rebate check will ship within 6 to 8 months." Keep us posted!
