I wish they wouldn't add "Indiana Jones and..." on the title. Unless there's something magical about these individual discs, handing onto the steel box.

"Indiana Jones and the" should be removed from the OP. They already corrected it to Raiders of the Lost Ark on the 4K Steelbook & latest Blu-ray.

But somewhere along the way they lost the original font for the word "Raiders."

If the 5th film is good I might wait for a possible box set. But if the new Indy sucks, now I have the option to get the OG trilogy individually. Very good news!

I wonder why the Indiana Jones and Godfather singles don't come with BDs. Raiders and The Godfather films received standalone BDs using the 4K masters but the last three Indy films didn't. The Star Trek 4Ks all came with BD copies except for The Motion Picture, are they all on crack at Paramount?

Because Paramount don't don't include the BDs anymore. The reason Star Trek got them is because there were a lot of special features to include, and would've likely required 2 or 3 dedicated BDs for them. So at that point they just gave it the full treatment.

But with Indy and Godfather, 1 BD was enough to include most of the extras.

The Motion Picture came with a remastered BD in the four movie 4K set. Both The Godfather and Trek got remastered BDs one way or the other; Paramount didn't bother with BD remasters for Indy.

I hope it doesn't have that Jaws and Star Wars crap at the top just awful! Why can't all studios just release the 4k disc only and a nice cover without the stars names on the artwork like Arrow does I know who's in the movie don't need the actors name splashed all over the artwork...

I just dusted off my Indiana Jones The Complete Adventures blu ray set to get ready to go see the new flick, and I have to say that these old blu rays hold up pretty nice.
It will take a steep price drop to warrant an upgrade for me.

I'm not sure why you'd wait unless they're not favorites of yours. The difference in all of the films is substantial.
