Via Vision is releasing Australian director Fred Schepisi's "Mr. Baseball" next month. Unlike the Universal US/Japan Blu-rays, this will carry over the DVD extras, which was a vintage baseball short and the trailer.

It's unfortunate that more film related extras haven't been created. No additional scenes from the Japanese cut, no interviews or commentaries.

I'm sort of not surprised.

The film was never released in cinemas in Australia and made its debut on VHS. Baseball films are a very heard sell in the land of Oz.
