I think they will ship it, if they don't then it doesn't bother me, I wouldn't have bought it unless it were cheap.

Right now it still says Pending Dispatch so I guess we'll see, will update if it changes.

The US site lists it as $8.99 US so it doesn't look like a mistake.

Next best price in the UK is at thehut.com for £9.73, even cheaper, probably the best Blu-Ray deal so far.

It's still thehut.com for £9.73, so the chances of reselling them at a higher price are low since most people know about cheapbluraymovies.co.uk, I had the same thought.

CDWow is out of stock. I may just complete the order at The Hut but it comes out to around $20 US with shipping. Don't know yet, dang it all.

Ok, I bit the bullet and ordered from The Hut. I don't know when CDWow will get more stock and if it would be the same price. I also don't want to pay more than I have to for it.

Out of stuck or was it really a price mistake? It seems fishy to me, did anybody's Trilogy get shipped from them for that price? AFAIR it's not the first time they canceled some to good to be true Blu or DVD offers...

I ordered from thehut, maybe they'll honor their contract.

Whenever I use CDWOW, if a title is no longer available on the website, it means they are out of stock. Sometimes, well actually, a lot of times they do not replenish the stock. So once its gone, its gone.

However, from the post before mine...it looks a price mistake that they are not honoring. Hopefully, like you said, The Hut does.

Yeah, I didn't get a confirmation either, although I'm sure the status changed to packing at some point.

Never order from CDWOW, seriously, they've ALWAYS been a let down.

For info, most of their Blu-rays are Australian imports.

Or UK imports. I got a UK Blu-ray title from them for the single BD title that they honour out of about 20 that I purchased in one transaction.

The worse thing with this company is you pay upfront. That order was worth more than many hundreds of dollars and they only refunded me the money some 2-3 weeks later.

They always say they are out of stock when it is really a pricing mistake they won't honour.

The funny thing is I got the email saying "they are out of stock and despite their best efforts, they can't get it anymore".... And when I clicked on the listing of the title, it was still listed as in stock... This tells me they are lying. It will be better for this sort of company to admit their pricing mistakes instead of lying to pretend they are actually doing something for you.

I can accept it if a company admits their pricing mistakes. But I can't tolerate it when they try to cover up by lying about it. They must think you are an idiot if you believe them.

Like Kynch said, stay clear from this dodgy company!!

thehut is another dodgy one, I bought a couple of titles from them a couple of weeks ago and I received used/opened titles.

I wrote back asking them about it and this is the response I got back from them:

Please return this to us via the freepost address below and we will be happy to send you a replacement or refund.

The Hut.com
Freepost GU212
Guernsey
GY1 5SS

If you could also include a brief covering letter, clearly stating your order number, the reason for return and whether a replacement or refund is required.

Please could you also include your unique returns authorisation number: xxxxx.

Without this we will not be able to complete your return and this may result in the item being sent back to you.

When returning your item please obtain a proof of postage which is provided free of charge from your local post office. This covers your item on its return to us.

We cannot exchange for an alternative item, we can only do a straight swap.

If you have ordered the item incorrectly we can arrange a refund.

Once you have sent it please allow at least 10 working days for the item to be returned back to us.

Once we have received the item your request will be processed and you will receive a confirmation email to advise you when this has been done.

Has anyone ever returned anything to this mob before? I haven't checked with my local post office yet but just because the destination says "Freepost ..." doesn't mean my local postoffice won't charge me postage??? I am not in UK after all.

Arrgghh.. I am so sick of all these dodgy online retailers... No apology at all that they sent me an used title even though their listing has no mention of the title being used or opened...

This item is not for Starship Troopers Trilogy set though so those of you that ordered from them, I hope you get a sealed set.. It is very frustrating having to deal with returning stuff

The response above is clearly a generic one.. I did not even ask them for an alternative item yet it was mentioned in the reply.. I told them to send brand new and sealed replacements or give me a refund. Man, I am sure there are many programmers amongst us.. They may as well write a software program that looks for keywords, then do a autoreply from a database.. What is the point having humans that send generic responses back without reading the customer initial request properly?

Considering this set sells for at least $70 in the US, I don't care if its missing shrinkwrap because right now The Hut is the best pricing for US customers: $20 USD and that includes shipping. DVD.co.uk is going to be $20 USD before shipping.
