https://www.vudu.com/content/browse/...undle-/2934810

Original post:

Migration is an upcoming animated film from Universal Pictures and Illumination this time, releasing in RealD 3D on December 22 2023.

Announcement teaser trailer with RealD 3D logo at the end:

New trailer with RealD 3D logo at the end:

Huge shout-out to Universal Pictures, DreamWorks and Illumination for continuing to pump out and fill this year with more fantastic-looking 3D films.
Looks like another solid film, hoping for a great 3D presentation and the potential 3D Blu-ray from RSM.

Good to see they're adding 3D into the film. Thanks. This could be interesting with the ducklings having to be protected by the mother and father duck from predators like Storks. The ducklings being unable to fly with their fluffy down fur tiny feathers before their full feathers form.

This played in 2D before the Super Mario film 3D.

So apparently Migration is still on track for a 3D release this Christmas (December 22 to be exact), with the RealD 3D logo at the end of this new trailer and the RealD logo on the poster, but after Universal/Illumination's latest debacle that is Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken which was initially announced to be released in 3D but it didn't, I really hope that's not the case for this one, because this looks really fun and could be great to watch in 3D.

Still sad that Ruby Gillman didn't get a 3D release because obviously it was made to be seen in 3D but and we didn't get it in the end. So once again I really hope all goes well for a 3D release of this film.

Migration vs Aquaman 2?

Migration could easily win that weekend.

I’m shocked it’s not another 3D cancellation casualty. 2023 has been a bad year for 3D.

The good news is there’s a decent chance of a release via RSM. They’ve released 2 Illumination titles now.

I got a 3D trailer for this with the Jurassic Park rerelease.

Looks like pretty solid Illumination fare 3D wise, so medium strong mostly. Bring on the cinematic release and then (fingers crossed) a disc by RSM!

Saw Migration 3D yesterday for Christmas. This is a must see in 3D to me. This much pop-out in a 2023 theatrical film is WILD. The beaks of the birds are constantly poking out and the depth of the landscapes is really well dome.

A much more impressive 3D presentation than Mario for sure (to me).

I just saw Migration 3D this afternoon and I thought the 3D was outstanding. This movie was made for 3D and there are plenty of pop-outs and great depth scenes, which I always enjoy. I also enjoyed the story itself.

There was also a good Minion 3D short which preceded the movie. It was also very entertaining.

Cool. Good to hear the 3D is promising. I didn't get a chance to see it after Aquaman 2 3D last weekend, but the 3D choices are only 2 showtimes this upcoming weekend, and they're both awful times.

Just came back from seeing this in 3D. A pretty entertaining story, with excellent 3D and some great pop-outs. Another fine effort by Illumination studios, and well worth the trip to the movie theater for this one.

Another thumbs up for me!! They have a lot of close-ups where the 3D really shines. I was sitting pretty up close, which I think helps with the visuals.

This one’s really cute. Lots of mild pop out, with a couple strong pops. Great layer separation during the flying shots, the ground’s really far down.

It’s also playing with a Despicable Me short, also in 3D. It has a vortex that makes for the best 3D in the whole set list.
