Has anyone picked this BBC documentary up yet? I'm really curious to hear how it is. I'm hoping one of our reviewers has a chance to review this title.

Please share your thoughts if you have seen it.

I'll be picking this up this afternoon and I'll post myinitial thoughts as soon as I can. Regardless of the PQ/AQ I'm sure the documentary itself is top notch....BBC Nature hasn't let me down yet.

Good request. I am planning on buying it, but I do like reading the reviews to see the opinions. But as the above post said, BBC Nature is doing real good work. I'll probably buy it without the review, but it woud be nice to see.

Thank you. Yeah...I own all the BBC docs...they are all great so far. I am just a bit timid on blind buys, so I like a little feedback first.

thats a pretty bad review. Sounds like a let down. I want to see something that can rival Galapagos and Baraka.

I disagree with the review, PQ is pretty darn excellent, aside from the always problematic underwater footage.
Looks better than PE, I still say Ganges is the best Doc out there though.

Does the BBC version have Mike Rowe as the voiceover or is that "exclusive" to Discovery Store's version.

I actually like Mike Rowe's voice.

On my blu-ray that I bought in the US (bar code reference : 8392907935 and ISBN 1-4198-8425-5), it is written "Narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch"...

By the way, for those who wanted to know (as I did in a previous post), there are only DHI english subtitles (no other languages)...

Moreover : The audio is DTS HD MASTER AUDIO 5.1 and not DD 2.0 has mentionned around
