“Sanctuary” is directed by Zachary Wigon (“The Heart Machine”) from a script by “Homecoming” co-creator Micah Bloomberg. The film debuted at 2022 TIFF and will be released by Neon this spring.

“Sanctuary” premieres in limited release on May 19.

Can someone tell me how this ends? Our projector died with what seemed like 2 minutes left in the movie and after waiting nearly 40 minutes for it to be fixed, management told us we just had to leave because it was too soon before the next showing to play us the ending.

This was where we got to:

[Show spoiler]They did the dad roleplay, woke up the next morning, walked out into the hallway. Neither of them said anything in the hall yet before the movie cut out

I actually liked it. But you have to be into those one room movies. 3 walk outs at my showing. Took me some time to get into it, but I would recommend for a one time watch. Really cool colorful transitions, which reminded me of I Know Who Killed Me and most recently Infinity Pool.

Thanks! Yeah a couple days later I ended up going to see another movie, and I timed it so that when it ended I could walk into the last part of a Sanctuary showing and see the ending lol

Want to bump this about the upcoming DVD release. Hope someone else picks this up in the future because this movie rules; Hilarious + sharp with an unexpected ending. Easily my favorite of the year so far.
