Probably just a port of the US disc, now that WB appear to have the UK rights.

Considering how much HK films on blu have blown up in the UK in the past half decade, WB would be foolish to just port the 2015 US blu. Aside from the cut/dubbed/rescored version being the only option, the transfer itself is just dated regardless. But Warner has been making "interesting" decisions anyway, so we'll see what happens?

EDIT: I forgot there was a UK blu in 2012, so it would be doubly foolish if this was just a rehash.

Fingers crossed this will include both the HK and international versions like the Warner Archive edition of Mr Nice Guy.
I was hoping they would do First Strike next but Rumble in the Bronx would be very welcome.

How much footage is missing in export cut? I actually saw that in cinemas "back then", remember only wooden dummy, handstand and rain of bottles scenes...

Eh, this screams "wait and see" at the moment, mainly to see the runtime and language options.

Hopefully this will include the HK cut, fingers crossed

Main focus has been all the 15 minutes of cut scenes, but another thing that always bugged me is that they also cut out the Cantonese themesong of Rumble from the US version. I remembered watching the US cut first, did not realize there was a HK cut at the time..and even more surprised when watching the HK cut and the catchy Canto theme popped in during ending credits. I always thought it was quite disrespectful to cut that theme out of the US version, because it is sung by the man himself. And it's ok that they added new soundtrack during the bloopers, but when the screen went dark and credits rolled..they could have just added that Canto theme as well.. Yeah, stupid decisions... Let's just hope this special edition brings back all the glory

Has there ever been a Warners disc ported over to the UK as part of the HMV Premium Collection that was anything other than a direct copy of the US equivalent?? I don't think there's the slightest chance this will be any different, especially since WB have almost no history of supplying a foreign territory like the UK with a blatantly superior disc over what is released in the States.

Hopefully it will have the Hong Kong cut, but even if doesn't I will still probably buy it since I don't currently own the film on any format.

So far I have avoided picking this up on blu due to the lack of any Chinese audio. If the re-release is just the International cut again with only the English audio, I'll pass on it again.

Pretty sure Performance is the only exception to the rule.

Warner Archive may yet announce a new edition of Rumble in the bronx stateside before August (when this edition is slated to release) which means this could be a straight port of that new release?
At this point we can only hope and wait.
