It seems strange that there are not that many Snell users on the forums

The Snells are actually divided into three generations

Peter Snell designed speakers
Kevin Vonecks designed speakers (now with Revel)
Joseph D'Appolito designed speakers - current designer

One thing that Snell kept with all three designers - tight tolerances on drivers vs crossovers. How many of you have heard any Snells before or owned them (I know of one person that owned some JIV's - Vonecks designed but now has some PBS' speakers - moved up in model and size).

OT in a way - McIntosh and Snell are in the same family - the big joke was that it was to be called Snellintosh or McSnell

Yes... It would !!!
