Lets tally the artistic sins;
-The T.rex on the SB is a trace-job of a stock photo for a licensed statue.
-The Dilophosaurus on art card is the Dominion design. Possibly on the sleeve too.
-The Triceratops on the art card is the Jurassic World design.

And then the rest of just the general traced/ps of movie stills. Lazy and poorly composed. The sky is like three different shades.

When I first saw this I thought it was fan-made - honestly I'm still not convinced until I see some pre-orders somewhere.

The slipcase is the worst offender for me, with all the floating heads. Malcolm almost looks like he's holding a lightsaber there.

The image seems to have originated from Bol.com:

Does this film have the most Steelbook releases? Or the Most 4K discs release yet? It's got to be up there for both these categories.

I don’t know what Universal is thinking when they signed off on this. The slipcover looks like a mock up of how Star Wars posters is done. The steelbook art is atrocious. Whatever pay the graphic artist got for this, he doesn’t deserve it.

The standard 4K release is the only one to get just for using what should be the default cover for any JP release.

Word... I have the ultimate 6-Movie 4k collection, but at least within the disc book, every page shows the og poster art for each film in the set.

The T Rex on the top left of the slipcase is just a screenshot from Jurassic World (when it roars after breaking the Spino skeleton)and the image is just mirror flipped.

Disc art on the 4K looks the same as the prior release. And if the recent E.T. Anniversary release is any indication, then this will be the same disc as the last one, which is unfortunate.

Well that's truly terrible. As a die hard fan of JP I just can't see myself getting this.

SB art is horrible, not even the T-Rex from that movie.
Slip cover is atrocious.

The cards are just meh. The only things there I'd like to take a look at, is the Sketch booklet and the film cell replica.

I own the movie too many times already to need this.

I'd expect something much better than this half baked release for a 30th Anniversary.

If it gets clearanced for less than $20 bucks I may consider it.

The old Best Buy film can blu-ray release is at least more interesting and unique than this.

They released the 4K not that long ago, I won’t even get into how bad and wrong the extras are. I only say this with certain releases, horrid!

I’m not even sure what the point is? I’d be shocked if this had a different transfer or any new or even very old extra’s. Yuk
