Dexter Season 3

Does anyone know if Dexter Season 3 with be region free?

Nobody knows yet, but based on the previous seasons I think it'll be region locked.

And that doesn't even make sense since DEXTER is not even going to be released overseas on Blu Ray. This just shows how selfish some movie studios are

Yeah, but its common. Most discs always have region coding on them. It does make no sense to put one on it if there will not be releases overseas.

Season 1 and 2 are region free. (unless I missed it on the backcover). I don't see a reason for season 3 to be locked.

Wrong. Season 2's Disc 1 and 2 are region free, while disc 3 is region coded. Season 1 is completely region locked.

Anyone who makes it to Target - can you confirm that the blu-ray edition has this too?

Picked it up from Target and see no mention on the exclusive.

The dvd sets did have a sticker about the bonus disc, but none of the blu rays had it. That's the main reason I didn't order it from Amazon when I ordered season two on Monday , so now I wish I would have ordered it from them and saved the money. Oh well.

Bought the 3-pack (Dexter: Seasons 1-3) from Amazon ($98.99). Worked out to be $33 per season.

My first copy of this had picture break up at about 9mins 30 seconds of the first episode, another owner reported this too on another forum. My replacement was fine though so if anyone else encounters this issue they should return the disc.

Isnt there a way to contact the distributor of this disc and find out if theres a Region B release planned at all? I have no idea who to contact for this but am getting really annoyed over the fact that we STILL havent gotten a release.

They did release the season on DVD over here (The Netherlands), so for that reason I doubt they are doing a blu-ray release, I mean, whats the point? It wont sell very good anyway because no tv channel airs the show here so it wouldnt get the publicity at all.

Really dont get the point of locking a disc when you havent appointed a studio to do a different Region release, only lowers the actual sales If you'd ask me

move to america and problem solve ahah just kidding. but that sucks that overseas cant pick this up. you should find a way around it since its a great TV show
