I have to assume that The Twilight Zone is the series that is representing the 1950s.

IMO The Boys definitely deserves to be on that list.

I listed The Twilight Zone #1.

It’s a great show. One of my favorite current series. You could argue that maybe it’s too soon for shows that are still ongoing and have only had a couple of seasons to be called “greatest”, “favorite”, “best”.

Maybe, but what about shows that have been cancelled like Deadwood or Carnivale ?
You could argue that they're also still ongoing because the story hasn't ended yet and they only have a couple of seasons.

Better not see a certain Baltimore based show.

Star Trek TOS got lot of votes. I’m guessing Modern Family is a drop off.

I don't know. Recency bias is definitely a thing, but so is nostalgia ...

Reveals will be starting late tomorrow afternoon! #65 through #51 will be revealed

I think everyone has an idea of what the Top 10 will be, and I often find the most interesting part of these lists are the ones just outside of the Top 10.

Compared to the original list, only 5 of those Top 10 remain in this 2023 updated version of the Top 10. And another huge clue, there is a NEW #1.

I think it's interesting that TZ is often perceived as a 50s show, when really only about a dozen episodes aired before 1960. I suppose it's something in the cultural zeitgeist.

Bring on the results!!!

I always think of Twilight Zone as an early 60’s show. Unless reminded I for get some episodes aired in the 50’s.

Oh, it cropped up on several lists, often ranked high. I think it has done very well and we can expect a good ranking.

Personally I didn't vote for it, as I have only seen a few episodes. It's high on my watchlist, but unfortunately I didn't get to it in time for this poll.

It can be confusing with those shows where you get overlap between two decades. Is Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! primarily a late '60s or early '70s show? Is Breaking Bad late '00s or early '10s?

Objectively, they are of course both. But it can be tricky when a show starts in one decade, and then perhaps has more episodes/seasons in the following decade, and then it becomes a question of which you place more importance on.

My assumption is that Star Trek (ie Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan) probably won

You mean number one overall? Not a chance. Number one of Trek titles, possibly.
