Arrow Leica CINE 1 UST Projector

Leica is getting into the UST projector business with their new CINE 1 that is scheduled to launch the week of Sept. 3, 2023 and we're approved for their very first allocation/shipment.

I have a lot of technical information on our Leica CINE 1 webpage:

And another UST one coming out for consumers with no 3D option, glad Awol gave us a beast with 3D capabilities too.

As you correctly said, AWOL's LTV-3500, which is the only UST projector that is 3D capable, is also a very fine Tri-Laser (dedicated RGB) 4K HDR UST projector.

With this said I expect Leica's new CINE 1 to be a very high-performance premium UST Projector and likely the best in class.

According to the spec sheet the Leica Cine 1 is a better Ultra Short Throw Projector. One gets both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision HDR. One gets not only ATSC 3.0 tuner but also a QAM tuner. Plus, I like how the company makes it clear and mentions in the spec sheet the native resolution is 2K (1080P) and with some type of pixel shifting technology simulated 4K quality occurs. There might be small other improvements with the Cine 1. I think there is a typo in the spec sheet when it mentions “Direct triple laser RBG”, they most likely met to say “Direct triple laser RGB”. No legacy 3D feature is a disappointment.
