Wish other studios gave us nearly everything like Paramount does. Universal isn't too bad but there's plenty they haven't done, Disney won't give us anything. Paramount's just like "take it all!"

At least someone still believes in physical media.

Hoping Rian Johnson's love of physical media and extras means this won't be bare bones.

Have been meaning to check out the TV series Poker Face. Have read very good things about it. First found out about the series a few weeks ago (it finished recently on UK TV channel Sky Max, and all ten episodes are available on Sky's On Demand/Catch up TV service. Eventually going to sample a couple of episodes and see if I like it).

Yeah, I've been looking. As it's a MOD release, I imagine we'll likely see it pop up at MovieZyng before other places. I was hesitant to even make a thread as I only spotted a DVD release too, but since the Blu-ray.com news post was written by a reviewer here, I have to assume it comes from an official source.

yeah I see articles about it all over (I'm sure they're all sourced from the same place so I hope they're not wrong and just spreading it all over) that all say DVD and Blu ray. I can't see why they would put it out on DVD only?! I know 4k is not as popular as blu which oddly isn't as popular as DVD. We got a super deal for a yr of peacock or where ever it's streaming, but with our crap internet even DVD will be better quality, but I REALLY want it on BD.

As far is "I can't see why they would put it out on DVD only?" go I can't answer why but I can say that it isn't unprecedented. The last Peacock series I purchased (the recent Saved by the Bell) was only DVD. Also the other Universal series I get were DVD only as well.

It could be an individual case for this show. It did pretty well and got a green light and Rian Johnson is a big name at the forefront.

As others have said, Rian Johnson is a big physical media proponent. He’s already said multiple times he’s bugged Netflix about Glass Onion and he said he was confident it’d get a release. I think with a smaller service by Universal it’s possible he stuck his head in and helped this along in getting a Blu-ray release.

I see there's now a DVD release, so hopefully a blu-ray won't be far behind. Also, hello!

Too bad his magic hasn’t worked with Glass Onion. Hopefully that will escape Netflix Jail sooner than later.

I gave up and pre-ordered the DVD. If they change it to add the blu ray before the release date I'll cancel it and get that instead.

It's up at Bullmoose:

https://www.bullmoose.com/p/36473735...s-for-delivery

Also at some other places like importCDs and Deep Discount. I usually just search a retailer by the UPC (810134941892) to see if it's on there.

https://www.deepdiscount.com/poker-f...e/810134941892

Because it's a MOD (pressed) release, some retailers may have a hard time delivering it on schedule, so I always suggest ordering at MovieZyng to be safe, or at least if/when a different retailer doesn't fulfill the order.
