Unhappy *Sigh*

Is it just me or is the UK getting hardly any animation releases

I am a bit scared of importing so I miss out on great titles like the Dragon Ball movies and the DC cartoons (Green Lantern first flight, Wonderwoman, Justice leauge new frontier)

Yeah I suppose I could give it a try, however does anyone have an explanation for the lack of releases?

I wonder why a release for anything doesn't come out everywhere at the same time. Never found a good reason for this.

Sometimes different studios have the distribution rights for different countries. Warner Bros may have distribution rights for a particular film in the United States, while Alliance Atlantis has the rights for Canada, and Paramount has the rights in Europe, and Sony has the rights in Asia. In each region, it is up to that particular studio to put the effort forth to distribute the film in their respective region. As each studio has their own list of priorities, it is understandable that some titles might not be considered "as worthy" to some studios over others.
