I've wanted to get passes inside to eat there. Well, maybe eat there, at least drink there. It'd be funny to see Ramsey yelling at the people and JP running around

+1 i would love to eat their after they progress to about midway in the show. I don't feel comforetable about all the idiots in the kitchen early on.

I only saw 1 commercial for this show and it was during the mlb all star which i saw only bout 20 minutes.

Also, i was looking at wikipedia( i know it's not a reliable source) to see who the contestants were, and at the bottom of the page was a spoiler of who was gonna be the winner of the show. I'm not gonna say who it is, but hopefully it's not true because i just don't want to know who the winner is and wait til the ending.

My wife is the one who told me that they were going to run a summer season, then a few weeks before, I saw one commercial for it. I know it's a popular show, just not as hyped as AI.

There seems to be an excess of dumba$$'s this year. And usually the women do rather well in the beginning, but they all seem to be stupid and yes, annoying. Are you freaking kidding me!?!?!? It's Gordon Ramsey, you don't get the title of master chef because you can cook Margarita French Toast... the man knows a thing or two.

I think the small looking asian guy with the glasses reminds me of Lloyd from Entourage'.......they sure sound the same. LOL!

Maybe they should have kept that guy who blew up at Chef Ramsey....imagine the blow-up and fight we could of had if him and cowboy had a throw down!!! Hee haw!!!

I think I saw one promo for it then all of a sudden my DVR was recording it last night. Didn't even realize it started this week. Great show. This has to be the biggest group of donkeys yet!

same here, thank god for tivo, i dont watch a lot of tv as its on, i rely on the DVR and watch a few episodes here and there when i have the time, but i was flipping around last night and saw it was 45 min in, but luckily i was able to start watching the recording at the beginning

my thoughts on the show:

first off, i LOVE watching hells kitchen, i like to cook, and i like to see gordon ramsey scream at people, its hysterical, but some things about the show are just so rediculously over the top planned, it makes it that much funnier to watch

1: EVERY challenge ever comes down to the last dish, or the last whatever, just like with the shrimp last night

2: that one dude blowing up and getting thrown out during the first service was absolutely planned, they were gonig to bring robert back, and had to have someone to get rid of to create a slot, and they wouldnt just rely on somebody screwing up that badly that gordon just kicks them off right then and there

3: EVERY episode teaser for next week is "the most shocking episode ever!!!" they are eventually going to get to a point where they cant keep topping it, right???

4: they have to turn down sooo many people that are too good for this show right? they need people that are going to screw up enough to be entertaining, and really good chefs dont make too many mistakes, they HAVE to tell a lot of people they are overqualified for the show

these arent criticisms, its just funny that they are so obvious, it adds to the entertainment value for me, keep it up hells kitchen!

whats his face that wants to fight should definitely be gone next week, and as for the first elimination, lovely should be gone because she just quit on the team, and whoopi should be in serious contention to be gone for the women this week too, i dont know what you all saw that said she was the best of the women, but she was awful at the cleaning the shrimp challenge, pissing people off during the punishment that she directly contributed to making them do, then couldnt get the scampi right in the dining room at the service that night, plenty of fail to warrant elimination, or at least nomination IMO

The womean were all awful, and it just goes to show you how bad they are. They all screwed up, and more than once, so I can't really say any of them stood out. The only thing I did see in Whoppie was an attempt at some form of leadership when they were taking care of the shrimp. Not saying she was effective, but this was at least "something" to take note of.

So, any ideas on how they almost burn the place down next week?

I thought it was funny that Whoopi undercooks the shrimp, has to go back into the kitchen and tell everyone that she is 6 tables behind and then when elimination comes says that she shouldn't be eliminated because she rocked the dining room. Huh?

Oooh sweet. Glad it's back on. This is the only reality show I watch any more. I could use me some more Kitchen Nightmares to go with this.

Awesome that Robert is back too! He was my early favorite last season.

I love hearing the "most shocking" line every week on almost all shows.

Also, all Whoopie does is expedite and she is horrible at it. I don't think she cooked 1 thing right last night. shrimp is like one of the easiest things to cook and she can't even do that right.

1. - I swear some of that seems staged, how many times can it come to a win by 1? Even in the previous seasons...ah well, still makes for good tv.

2. Yeah it was planned, he was a hothead and obviously butchered his stuff. I think Ramsey made up his mind 1 was going home that night during service.

The promo for next weeks episode I think has stuff from the entire season. I know they did that last year. I doubt they'd blow their load on the second nite. We'll get to see a piece of it, then another amazing next week teaser will keep us coming back.

I wonder why season 2 winner, Heather, is back? I thought she was working in Las Vegas.

I wish that blow hard would get his ass kicked by Ramsey. I watch Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word on BBC America, and they rock.
