A disgraced, alcoholic surgeon moves with his family to a small town in New Hampshire. Unknown to them, the entire town is populated with werewolves, some good and others very evil. They soon find themselves thrust into an ancient, mystical battle between the wolf packs that will change their family furever. An astoundingly ambitious and riveting example of pure outsider cinema, Lycan Colony's reputation is well earned as every bizzare creative decision unfolds and you are dropped into its metaphysical alternate reality. Lycan Colony now enjoys its first time ever on Blu-ray and is packed with bonus features, including the full Rifftrax version and a brand new interview with writer/ producer/ director Rob Roy

Visual Vengeance (Wild Eye) kills it with their artwork. I love the insert cover for this one.

I appreciate what they're doing, but of all the films to release, they chose this?

Movies like The Abomination, Ozone: Attack of the Redneck Mutants, Gore-Met Zombie Chef From Hell, Las Vegas Blood Bath, Proboscis, Colony Mutation or other VHS relics I can understand being rediscovered and released for a new audience, but this one? Come on. Why don't you release Lycanthrope (1999) or WolfPeople (2011) while you're at it.

I have many low budget horror atrocities like this one if Wild Eye wants to release some more crap. Seriously, if you want to release The Greenman
or an actual good bad movie like Addicted To Blood let me know.

I'll just keep the original DVD that I found on Ebay years before this thing became a minor cult hit.

I have no idea what the hell this is, but that cover art is incredible.

I'm guessing the movie itself is not good though, both based on the comments here and the fact that a Rifftrax version exists.

Is it bad that I'm tempted to buy it anyway just for the poster?

Got my copy yesterday. It's a nice little package. The movie looks exactly like what you should expect from a low-budget shot-on-video movie. I'm not sure it really needed to be a Blu-ray, but the extra space at least allowed for the full RiffTrax version to be included. The air freshener and stickers are cute. Haven't listened to the commentary tracks yet. Really fun "bad" movie, though.
