Thumbs up New Fox titles

Some of their December slate has been posted on their website.

No specs other than MPAA rating and running time for now...

Flight of the Phoenix
Rising Sun

Entrapment
The Sentinel

The new titles have been added to the Coming Soon thread.
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=2400

However, the site doesn't state where the titles will be released...

So it looks like the Omen 666 got delayed... Glad to see more FOX titles hitting the shelves, even if I'm not that interested in very many of them.

Yeah those titles do little to impress me. Although I did enjoy Zeta-Jones in Entrapment. You know, the movie where she won the award for Best Ass in a Feature Film.

Those titles don't do much for me, but that's typical of "first wave" fodder you see studios bring out on new formats.

I think it has been mentioned before but Bill Hunt dropped a little hint today about Master and Commander(one of my favorites) coming out this year.... I also remember it being mentioned as a BD50.....

Speaking of the film, I hear through the grapevine that odds are good we'll see a Blu-ray Disc release before the end of the year.
This is a Fox title??? Right????

It sure is!

Wow, if I have this and Kingdom of Heaven spearheading a software charge this year in time for Christmas I'm going to be ecstatic.

Fox does not need to release 50 discs or whatever the rumor is. I'll settle for these seven:

Master & Commander
Gladiator
XMEN 1, 2&3
I Robot

Last of The Mohicans

All on DL discs. Come on Fox is this too much too ask for?

How would HD-DVD possibly counter a stellar lineup like that, if it happened, and especially if those are all high quality discs, as the should be?

C'mon Fox! That's the kind of shock and awe this thing needs! Get it done!

Warner could dish out a three month exclusive window for The Matrix Trilogy on HD DVD. Something like that would certainly counter Longshot's lineup from Fox.

Just playing devil's advocate here.

"Gladiator" is DreamWorks, who is now owned by Paramount.

However when it was released on video, it was through Universal.

Either way, we probably won't see it for a long, long time on BD.

Why does the website say Master and Commander is available?
