Notice "The Aviator" does not have lossless audio.

The movie, according to IMDB, is 170 minutes long - I am guessing they couldn't fit lossless audio on the 30GB HD-DVD so left it off both!

It really is turning into "The Look *or* Sound of Perfect" as somebody previously mentioned...

Wow, that really sucks!

OK, we're pains in the ass. We keep demanding better from the studios. But, we're ambassadors for HDM. And, we're paying a premium for premium quality. So, please give it to us!

I'm not buying any gimped Warner releases. If you want to still favor HD with superfulous extras, so be it, but give BD proper PQ and SQ.

From my experience with Warner BD is like that:

Every single HD-DVD has DolbyTHD built in the result is straight forward to BD release at the same time

Example The Departed got DolbyTHD here same is true on BD version got PCM

300 got DOLBYTHD and 300 on BD got PCM AND DOLBYTHD

Wheras if this movie got Dolby+ then BD can at least get Dolby Digital

this is the correct formula works for Warner Bros they dont want to show you

BD is the Superior format.They are treating both format equally
