Question PS3 blu-ray help?

*I'm not sure if this the right place to post this but if not feel free to move it please.*

Okay. So I need some help. Today I was watching Bolt. I got to the part when they meet Rhino for the first time and it just froze. However, it didn't freeze. I wasn't able to press any button on my BD remote or controller. The only thing I could press was the Playstation button in the middle. I took the disc out and checked it and it looked brand new (btw, I watch Bolt a lot because it's my favorite recent movie) I put it back in and the previews came up okay. It even got to the main menu of the movie okay. Once I pressed play or even picked a scene, it would just go to a blank screen and just stay there. At first I thought it was the movie. But then just now I started watching Revolutionary Road. Which may I add is a brand new sealed movie. It got about 15-20 minutes in and it froze. Just like before.

I have a feeling something it wrong with my DVD drive unfortunately. I would like to get some ideas from you guys. I don't want to call up Sony to get it fixed (because I'm cheap. ) If it helps at all its a 80 GB, 4-usb. (The ones that play PS1 and PS2 games.)

Any info or help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If Sony fixes it, it's around $150. If it's your first call and you're out of our warranty, sometimes Sony will does a 'courtesy replacement'. Just depends on who you get and how friendly they are.
