But Volume 2 hasn't even released yet, and that does have a release date. Are you making a mistake?

No, it was an exclusive announcement to the podcast. It's briefly discussed at about the 19 minute mark:

I heard the podcast. It sounds like Volume 1 sold SO well, they're not even waiting for Volume 2's sales to get the Volume 3 out.

There's precedent for that. Back in 2019, volume's 2 and 3 of Popeye: The 1940's were put out back to back. Based on that, Volume 3 should be fairly early next year.

If they're working on it now, and it takes six months to get a disc out, we should be seeing it circa February/March.

It'll be great if they've gotten their pipeline up to getting discs out at a faster clip, to avoid long droughts.

Let's just hope they don't use photoshopped titles again.

Like I said, nothing's wrong with the (HBO)Max transfers, it's the photoshopped titles that were the problem. Leave that to fans who want to do recreations and the like.

Getting into Looney Tunes just now, is there something particularly special about these sets or are there just compliations?

The only thing special is that they’re all brand new to blu ray, so the Collectors Choice are must buys to add/build your collection
