Bought the Blu-ray not long ago very cheap. Still think the transfer is quite nice. But will upgrade.

Great to see another John Sturges film and another classic Western on 4K UHD.

Which dampens my excitement for this considerably. Though I’ll still buy it since classic westerns are my favorite genre and I want to see more on the format.

This is available on Apple iTunes Movies in 4k. I like the 4k transfer. It's a big improvement over the previous HD stream that I saw on iTunes. The 4k disc presentation should be even better.

Never heard of this one. Does it follow the same route the newer Tombstone takes?

No..it's very different and Lancaster's Wyatt Earp is portrayed as a very goody two shoes type of guy....has some great music by Frankie Lane. Same characters as usual but lacking the violence of today's films. Lots of great actors are in this too.

Yep .. I prefer this one in a nostalgic way ... Tombstone always felt a touch Disney to me .. produced. Both excellent.
