Germans have to wait longer heh. You'd think this is not a German film at all
It's ridiculous that SC didn't do a 4K version when they did their huge 2018 re-releases. But should they do so in the future, they really need to hire LSP for the encoding, otherwise there's no chance for a match in quality. Their 2018 BD is absolutely terrible with insane macroblocking.

I agree! If they're smart they go via LSP. Master is ready, they only need to apply German subtitles, that's it. We'll see maybe in 2024 we'll get a release

Regarding the localized titles: This is certainly a bit odd as Carlotta normally doesn't do these kinds of things (thank God) as both the CC and Curzon UHDs have them in English. The German BD should have them in German if I remember correctly. The original titles are always preferable but I assume Wenders is fine with it or even suggested it due to the three languages in the film.
The three other graphs are still from the Carlotta UHD. The first is a duplicate of the "main" one I posted to imgur so it would appear bigger on the forum and is of the 1 second rates, while the second and third are the max 5 and 10 second rates. I always save all three graphs whenever I do a BDinfo scan, so I figured I'd include all 3 anyways.

DVDCompare erroneously claims it’s HDR10 rather than SDR.

No idea where they got their information from. I‘m sure there‘s no HDR master available as all three UHD versions are SDR.

This question applies to the UK disc as well, but putting it here in this thread - does it seem like the 2.0 mix is original and not a fold of the 5.1?

Don't know about the Carlotta, but the US/UK discs have a downmix.

I'm assuming you mean the UK Studio Canal since it looks like the Criterion is 5.1 only. Regardless, thanks for the reply/confirmation.

I thought the Criterion had the downmix as well, but you're right it just has the remix.

I wonder when there will finally be caps of this in caps-a-holic. The Criterion and Curzon UHDs have caps there.

Thank you so much for your efforts providing these incredibly useful screenshots on so many titles. Don't know how you find the time, but it's very appreciated.

For the screenshots the only part that takes time is the ripping of the discs. The rest is mostly dragging and dropping since I have templates of all the types of comparisons I usually do
