it appears he is in the running for the solid snake role. id like to see colin farrel play the role too, justin timberlake as raiden anyone>? what are your thoughts.

He's a good actor, but I dont think he's "rugged" enough to play as snake. I dont have any clue of who I would want to play the role of snake either....

Hugh Jackman imo would be a perfect fit for Snake.

Bale would be cool but not timberflake. I can see Ryan Plippie (Cruel Intentions) for Rayden. Sean Connery for Ocelot. I know this might sound weird but with long hair I think Nick Cage for liquid. Seeing him in Ghostrider acting kinda cold and psyhco. Thoughts?

I would say Kurt Russell, but he's too old and isn't a great actor.

i think christian Bale could do it, he's versatile enough definitely and goes to great lengths for his characters, and not rugged enough? did ya see 3:10 to Yuma or Rescue Dawn, he even eats a snake in it! that's basically an audition haha

No I havent seen it yet, but thank you for ruining the scene that HAS to end the movie.

Exactly... But seriously, Christian Bale is hands down the finest actor there is today... Pitt, Clooney, DeCaprio, they just can't hold a candle to this guy... He is so versatile... He will never be typecast...

How about a remake of Escape From New York and Christian Bale plays Snake.... That would be awesome. George Clooney could be the President and Christian Bale could save the old man....

Hugh Jackman would be a cool Snake, then have Kurt Russell as Big Boss.

I wouldn't be against Christian Bale as Snake either though. He's a really cool actor.

Oh and I wanna see Kate Mara (Shooter)as Meryl.

Haha and Jon Heder(Blades of Glory) as Rayden.

I was going to mention Kurt Russel should be factored into this as well, as he was the original Snake Pliskin (in fact, in MGS2, Snake conceals his identity with the name Pliskin.). Russel as Big Boss would be a good deal.

Hugh Jackman would be a good running too. Not sure if I prefer him or Bale.

I think Christian Bale is a great choice, but Hugh Jackman is great too, and sort of resembles Snake in appearance.
