Apologies if I'm completely out-of-the-loop and if this has already been established as old news, but I've been noticing there have been a few select titles available on Amazon.com, but when I go to add it to my cart it shows as unavailable (out-of-print/out-of-stock). Yet when I login through my VPN under a U.S. IP address it shows as available, but when I add it to my cart to ship to Canada it says it's not available to ship to my location.
Titles I've noticed like this are The Rocketeer and Kingdom of Heaven: Ultimate Edition. I thought that maybe because they're Disney/Fox titles perhaps it's a Disney thing, as we all know how Disney can be with their gestapo-style business practices. Yet there are a lot of other older Disney/Fox titles that are available. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with this? |

I have not. But that's for the recommendation.
It's not so much about finding another online retailer, I was just trying to understand why certain titles released by the same distributor aren't available to ship to Canada, while others are available. Also it's specifically Amazon.com, not third party sellers either. |

Both the Kino and Shout sites will not sell a few certain titles to Canadians.

All the Amazons have been cracking down on cross-border international ordering since the pandemic hit, and they never opened things up again.
Amazon Canada doesn't sell any BDs to Americans anymore. We're blocked entirely, as far as I can tell. Amazon UK will allow Americans to preorder items, but won't allow Americans to order many/most BDs after release day. |
