May I ask what steps you use to over clock, do you have to adjust jumpers for extra voltage or do you just mess around in the BIOS to OC it? Or is it too difficult to explain briefly.

usually all done in the bios if you're going for the safe way. look up your motherboard on the net and see if you're able to overclock via the bios

i dont think my 12GB of ram would fair to well in xp

(and yes i know there is a 64bit version of xp but drivers suck for it)

And xp isnt very SSD friendly

no offense meant, but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. windows 7 is completely worth the upgrade, especially for xp users

I guess I will be sticking to the spinning version of HDD for a while.

Although I have the same processor as you same speed ram just not as much and I have dual 4870 and they received the same score as your single.
yes SSD's are fast

but i got a few 1TB drives too

and to answer why your video card score is the same

"The gaming graphics score is based on the primary graphics adapter. If this system has linked or multiple graphics adapters, some software applications may see additional performance benefits."

what version of windows 7 are you running, scores vary a bit on the different builds

it is faster, but with those specs, i doubt you notice a difference. plus you gotta weigh if its worth the hassle.

i've never cared about reinstalling because i install on a separate hard drive
