Is there submission guidelines somewhere to adhere to, so data is proper?
Mostly asking about romaji/literal. Like on a movie submission. Which would be the proper order: Curse of the Dog God (犬神の悪霊) (Inugami no tatari) Or: Curse of the Dog God (Inugami no tatari) (犬神の悪霊) As I see it both ways on the site, i.e on Japanese/Korean/Chinese films. |

I have not been sure either on this, the past month or so i have been going with the following format that Rapta uses, other users are doing it the reverse way though so i don't think there is any specific guidelines for this, if i start changing them they just get flipped back again.
Curse of the Dog God (犬神の悪霊 / Inugami no tatari) |

I usually do it my latter example, keeping the foreign characters last.
Curse of the Dog God (Inugami no tatari) (犬神の悪霊) but that is personal preference. Granted, staff does review submissions before their approval, so if it was truly an issue I think it'd be known if there was an order preference. I don't think (犬神の悪霊 / Inugami no tatari) is technically necessary because my way with the two parenthesis automatically adds a / in between on the page. |

That is how I've always done them, and how I've seen others done. |

Cool, i'm honestly fine with either method, it's entirely upto the mods if they want to enforce anything, i'll use the foreign characters last going forward too. ![]() |
