United Kingdom Anvil: The Story of Anvil (Altitude, January 2024)

Remastered version. This has been delayed but I see it now showing up as January 2024. Anyhoo, this is a great documentary on a band that can't really be called has-beens because they never really quite there in the first place.

The PR company of Anvil have confirmed none of the band appear naked in any new interviews. That's a relief.

Nothing I can see on Altitude's pointless website https://www.altitude.film/movies/wat...atest-releases

Nice. I'll be picking this up.

Quite possibly the best rock documentary about a band ever.

If you haven't seen it, it is well worth a view.

31st December 2025 on Amazon, so after being delayed a full year and the planned theatrical reissue not materialising, I don’t see it happening. Altitude are mostly good for overpriced Capelight mediabooks now.

I really hope it does come out. One of the very best documentaries I've ever watched.

I have the old UK Blu-ray disc.

Hopefully it does get a re-release UK side as it deserves all the love that we can give to the characters and story
