Surprised there was not a thread for this one. Sure it's corny good old fun but I liked the movie. Not as good as the first movie but I would love for Sony to release a Blu-ray.

It's with Sony so maybe a chance there's a Mill Creek or a Sony MOD pressed disc at some point.

There is a pretty good looking 1080p master of this on Prime, it's swimming in grain, if Mill Creek put this out it would look like hot garbage with their compression. My nostalgia didn't hold up for this when I rewatched it, it's bad, the first is a classic.

Considering Shout and Arrow both have contracts with MGM (owner of 1) and Sony (owner of 2), I can see both on a quality double features from both of them. At least it would be a 2K job across the board from IPs.

The director of this film Robert Klane passed away in August of last year. He also wrote the first film. RIP Robert!

The 1080p master on prime looks really good. I hope Mill Creek does not go anywhere near this one because they will likely ruin the transfer. Sony MOD BD makes the most sense.

It's one of those it's bad it's good kind of movies. It misfires at times but it's still entertaining enough. The first one though is definitely a classic I agree. I hope it gets a 4K UHD at some point.

The Prime master for II has so much wonderful thick grain, Mill Creeks compression would murder kill it instantly
