As I have 2 sixasis controllers and 1 just broke I was looking at importing a controller, (the white one

) This may seem like a stupid question but are they region locked

nope,would work with any US ps3 system..i had imported one soon as there were released,hope you don't mind the Japanese writing on the box,i find it a collectible & rare since no one has one around my area.

THERE also releasing Blue & Red controllers in October IF you can wait!!!

in the States and else where!

Choice is yours my friend.

The white is great looking but I dont like the look of the new red and blue ones. They look like something i'd buy at a market

I went with colorwarepc.com and ordered these puppies

EDIT: after seeing the red and blue controllers on the thread dedicated to them i think they look much better than in the image shown above. But still not a patch on Whitey.

White controllers get dirty really quick though. It's why I hate my 360 controllers.

Black dual shock ftw! Cheaper too!

they used to be on amazon but now you can only get them used or from some third party

[B] Dirt will show on black controllers over time. Kind of sounds like some of you play with dirty hands. Not sure bout others but i hate when i goto a friends and the controllers feel dirty. I don't have trouble keeping my white and black DS3s clean.

yeah that's kind of gross,how bad are some peoples hands?

i know for one i had kept a white baseball cap white for 3 years.

$55 for a new controller + 30 for the paintjob I'm assuming since it's $30 if you mail yours in.
amazon has cheaper controllers, but places like gamestop, yeah they're $55.

I might order one, I don't have a DualShock yet.

And its not even possible to buy the white one from Yesasia - they wont ship it to EU!! I hate Europe

EDIT: I just calculated the total cost for a DS controller after shipping, duty etc.. $215

But too bad there's no lemon yellow PS3 controller like the PS2, I've always wanted that blindingly bright controller and never got around to getting it. Those red and blue PS3s pictured above, I just don't really care for. The clear red and blues for the PS2 looked way better IMO.

Those look very nice - but 105 $ if I want 1 controler + paintjob + shipping to Denmark

Its $165... 85 for the controller wiht paintjob, and 80 for shipping a controller to Denmark
