Rarely does Amazon Prime have something that I deem as a must watch…
Saltburn is without a doubt the best thing Prime has had exclusively in quite some time. The aspect ratio might annoy some watching on TVs, but don’t let that be a reason not to watch. It was directed by the woman who did Promising Young Woman. |

This was a strong contender for today's watch (this and/or LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND )...but your aspect ratio comment has me concerned... the only thing I hate more than academy ratio (4:3) in my HT is shifting ratios that aren't "matte" friendly. I also really like going into movies as cold as possible (ie no trailers/spoilers). Can someone comment on the A/R issue here? |
