check number 7 plot hole.
I don't mean to spoil the movie but the jungle scene, when optimus dies, happens before the Smithsonian scene. From the Smithsonian they teleport to Egypt or whatever. The movie sucks but i think you need to see it again.

What's with all of the negativity lately? So many of these type of threads popping up recently. Who cares who doesn't like what film.

LET'S CELEBRATE OUR FAVOURITE PASTIMES AND NOT DEGRADE THEM!

If you don't want to spoil it then use spoiler tags for the people who may have not seen it yet.

I should watch the film again. I was just distracted most of the time since there were 2 people kept talking through out the movie.

these threads kill me, ppl always jump in with AMAZING movies to try look cool or something?

OP posted this:

The Matrix (i can understand not liking 2 or 3 but seriously??)
TDK - In defense, I thought it was OK but not that good (one of the best BDs to date, robbed of Oscar nominee for best pic)
Pretty much all horror movies (so pretty much anything fun like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St, Halloween?)
Vampire movies (interview with the vampire, underworld and underworld evolution? lost boys? come on now...)
Most super hero/comic book movies (most? can you name the ones you do like?)

if you can't enjoy those movies i honestly feel really bad for you. i'm glad i have a wide range of movies i can enjoy, best way to be a movie fan IMO

I think certain depends who you see it with. I saw Knocked up opening night with a cousin. i thought it was the best comedy ever because we laughed the whole. Later, alone in my apt popped the DVD...i fell asleep. it was not funny at all.

Saving Private Ryan. I can't stand it when i watch it alone but with an audience i like it.

Tropic Thunder: unfunny crap from beginning to end

40 yr old Virgin: a coworker claimed this was the best movie ever. I rented it and kept waiting for greatness to grab me and it never came.

No country for Old Men

Grindhouse

Master and Commander: What's this movie about again. and i hear they want to make a sequel??

This is going to turn into an "I Have No Taste, Here's Why" thread pretty fast. Somebody mentioned any Pixar film, might as well write him (her?) off.

And... in Transformers 2 the walk out the back door of the Smithsonian right into a desert. It makes just as much sense as a forest/jungle.

I just don't get it.

Juno - Over-rated
Transformers 1 and 2 - Ugh

I don't know, but the movie was entertaining yet confusing at the same time.

How is this thread negative? What is wrong with intelligent criticism? Where's the value in adoring absolutely everything? And to answer your question, I care about what movies people don't like or feel they didn't connect with. That's why I asked the question. Not to have a rag fest on the sacred cows of pop culture, but to explore the intricacies of the human movie viewing experience. You can learn as much about a movie, a person and the general public by what they don't like as you can about what they do like.

Assuming everyone is civil to one another I think this sort of stuff is very interesting.

Watchmen and Ironman are the two that first come to mind. I didn't care for them, and don't get what all the fuss was about.
