Compare this forum to highdefforum in discussions about BR and HD DVD. You will soon realize that there is NO intellectual discussions in this forum.

Goodbye.
define "NO INTELLECTUAL DISCUSSIONS FOR ME in this forum" are you saying that you are dealing idiots or what. I am sure you mean something else by it, but you didn't specify. and its misleading.

just because something my sound ridicilous to you, it has a meaning being a blu-blood member.

you are one, according to your sig. and that group pledged their allegiance to Bluray and nothing else.

If anyone wants to come over there and join, it would be much appreciated. I feel like I'm the only Blu-ray supporter left on there.

And for all you highdefforumers reading this:
The reviews are good on that site.
I'm there on occasion battling the hddvd duds.
You have to be prepared to do battle with complete idiots. lol
Somedays I'm not. lol
I will battle with you.

All those hddvd FB's are soon to be Blu-ray customers. We cannot bash them that bad. Or can we, alls fair until all of them go BLU!

High Def Digest is good for reviews and news. I don't even waste my time in the forums. They're around 80% HD fanatics.

I visit the AVS for talk about TVs, receivers, etc. but the forums are polluted with HD kool-aid drinkers.

This is hilarious. How out of touch are these guys? They are shocked that people at a site called blu-ray.com show favoritism for blu-ray.
This blatant disregard of the obvious explains how they were able to make such an uninformed decision and choose hd-dvd.

yeah its funny - too bad their format will be dead by the end of next year. Well I guess they can get some of there money back after hawking off their HD DVD crap in a year or so.

I know right, I've seen at least 3 new threads just asking to explain why blu-ray is better. If they came over here and acted normal they wouldnt get banned.

They're doing their impression of a neutral or blu-ray fan. It's like Borat pretending to be Jewish. "My big hooknose is itching. Does anyone have any baby blood for me to rub on it?"

It just simply doesn't work.

I'm amazed people didn't pick up on the name "Smurf" since that's one of several usually negative nicknames HD-DVD zealots give to BD supporters. Yet again, I'm not sure how someone like that even made it as long as they did around here.

Anyways, I've said this before and I'll say it again: The Hd-DVD folks have free run across most of the prominent and major forums and we basically have our little corner of the universe here.

Despite that, they just can't leave us alone so the only thing I can conclude is that we must really be some serious threat to them, since we constantly expose and destroy every piece of FUD and lying they come up with.

That has to be it, because how ridiculous can it be? They have AVS. They have HTF. They have High Def Digest and that's still not good enough for them.

This place has a big fat bullseye on it and I think it speaks for itself.

Keep up the good work!

That brings up another question, why are the "major" sites (avs, HTF, HDD) so damn red? Is the logic fogging hatred of sony that strong? Is PiP really the savior of HDM? Isn't it supposed to be about the A/V quality?

Generally I take the posters who are the major fudsters and look at their posting history. You'll see that on a lot of sites that are furiously pro-HD DVD they have a lot of new members in the past year or two who have come to dominate the site through sheer volume of posts.

Look at Lee Stewart. The guy comes out of nowhere and has more posts than 90% of the members on those sites. Eventually the sheer volume of posts tends to make the site seem redder than it actually is.

I blame a lot of it on HD DVD targeting the age group that has little cash but lots of free time on their hands.

It is certainly striking how someone like LS has not only the time but also the "motivation" to post as much as he does in such a virulently red manner.
