Got mine from a guy named roman o from a company called buybestplasma or u can find him directly on avsforum.com as well. Very professional fast service great prices a huge plus is that he runs an authorized reseller store meaning that the original manufaucturers warranty stands when purchased form him and they also offer extended warrantys from mack another big name as far as that goes highly recommended

Default Pro-151FD @ 4.8K; Pro101FD @2999

I saw this on another thread...thought it might be relevant here:

Pro-101FD for less than 3K. Kuro 101FD

Pro-151FD for less than 4.8K Kuro Pro-151FD

This is the best I've seen by at least three hundred. The dealer (I know him) is straight-up.

BB Magnolia had the Kuro 151 for $4000 and the Kuro 101 for $3000 a few weeks back for their Anniversary Sale "Once a year smokin' hot savings".

Best Buy never carried the PRO-101FD model, other dealers stocked that model.

They did carry the Pro-101fd, but they just never displayed the Pro-101fd. It was to confusing explaining it to the average customer the difference between the Pro-101fd and Pro-111.

Like I said the average tv buyer trying to learn something about new technology.

Best Buy carried the PRO-111FD but the PRO-101FD was never listed online at Best Buy's website. Also a Best Buy employee told me that they did not carry the PRO-101FD. If they did carry the PRO-101FD and it was not on display and it was not listed online. How did people get the PRO-101FD from Best Buy. A special order?

You're sure right Blove. I was just at my BB Magnolia and they have reduced the 151 back to $4000, the 101 (they just got another in) to $3000, and they have also now reduced the 141 to $4500 from $7000. I didn't see the 101 on display but the salesman told me they have one in stock.

For some reason you get better deals at the actual BB stores rather than online. The stores will also match any BB online prices if they are lower.

Unlike the last Anniversary sale that was advertised in the flyer, these are not advertised; all they did was change the little signs on the tvs.

I am saving a couple hundred dollars on a price match for a subwoofer that just went on sale there and I got some better speakers at 1/2 price. The salesman said the Magnolia store does not usually advertise and you have to come in to see the special sales. The 111 was reduced at one time to $2600 and this was not advertised either.

The 101 was listed on sale in the Anniversary Sale Once A Year Smokin' Hot Savings flyer a few weeks ago and tonight the salesman told me they had just received a 101.

Thanks for the info, they must have started stocking PRO-101FD's just recently. Very few retail stores carried that model. I remember in the summer asking a few Best Buy employees about the PRO-101FD. They said they did not carry the PRO-101FD so I purchased a few PRO-101FD's and PRO-141FD's by mail order instead. I am glad to hear Best Buy is now carrying the PRO-101FD which also is a clearance item.

Many Pioneer plasmas have been removed from the Best Buy website since most models are out of stock. Currently only the PRO-151FD and PDP-6020FD are listed online at Best Buy's website. My local Best Buy only has the PRO-151FD and PRO-141FD left in stock.

How does picture quality of a krp-600 compare with 141, 151 and 6020? It seems to be the best deal on a 60 inch kuro.

141 , 151 and 600 will have the same picture potential ,once adjusted or calibrated ,the 6020 does not have the same picture quality potential .

My BB has the 151 for $4,000 and the 141 for $4,500. They were both $6,500 two days ago. (the wife went by the store). I got my 151 last year for $3,850 out the door I belive. Im gunna see if I can get another 151 for around $3,100 - $3,200. I should be able to with all the Kuros I've bought from them...I giving one of my Elite 111FD's away to a friend that needs a TV. I would get the KRP 600M but I don't like the whole Kuro through the mail thing, plus there is just something about the 151 that give me a "jub"!! LMFAO!My 5020 still has oneof the best pictures I have ever seen and I've seen them all. It's "real" CR I belive is 16,800.1 and has a 0.000fL black level. That's DAMN good.

I just got a promo e-mail from a dealer in Philly that has overstock/inventory? of Kuros.

bestbuypcs . com

The'yre selling the 151 for just under $4800. I know they're hard to get.

The 141 seems to be a better price...3998.

The PRO-141FD list price is $7,000 plus $400 for the table top stand ($199 clearance price from Pioneer directly on the stand). The PRO-151FD lists for $6,500.

The PRO-141FD supports worldwide signals like PAL and SECAM, hand picked parts for the best quality, 2.5 inches thick, and is Pioneers flagship model. Most consumers are more attractive to the PRO-151FD since it comes with built in speakers, tuners, and table top stand. The PRO-151FD appears to be selling better since the average consumer wants a TV with everything included instead of a high-end monitor. Some dealers are now selling the PRO-151FD at higher prices then the PRO-141FD since it is more in demand.

For those that have a surround sound system and a external tuner (HD ATSC tuner, HD cable box or HD satellite receiver) the PRO-141FD is the better choice.

Saw a 141 about two weeks ago open box for $3000. Went in today to return something and looked around. Obviously the 141 was gone and talked to the guy in magnolia to see if they had any left. Turns out the guy that bought it had returned it and was sitting in the back. He asked if I was interested in it for $2000. Best deal I ever got at best buy. No remote or manual. But included the optional stand worth $400. $2150 out the door. Supposed to be delivered early next week. Merry Christmas- thank you BB!

BTW- The 101's are $2500 new in box. Ask your local best buy store, they can order them- Guy at magnolia said that they have one in stock and best buy bought all the remaining pioneers.
