Yes one would reasonably expect a 4K disc U-S reelease, but who is to say when? Streaming rights may include a clause to say no U-S 4K disc for a period of time. Until then the rogue disc is the only 4K option

I think a Criterion release is almost certain but we don’t know for sure because, as far as we know, they have yet to make a deal with Apple to release a title.

I ordered the new release and won’t be waiting.

While in no way comparable to Paramount or Warner Bros., they're not that small. They're not a botique label.

It's a full fleged major corpration owned by Tarak Ben Ammar, who also has a stake in Spyglass and other ventures (and thus has managed to get his daughter into the Scream reboot, btw).

They just don't give a ****.

P.S.: For anyone wondering, the Italian rights for Killers of the Flower Moon aren't with Apple at all, which is why there's a phyisical media release.

Probably, but none of these distributors seem to be taking wrong region coding as a real issue, because outside of Umbrella, none of them have offered replacement discs for their locked titles.

At least Eagle is doing the bare minimum and pressing new ones for a re-release, which can't be said for the likes of Shout or Lionsgate.

...Eagle have also released a 'fixed' (v.2) 4K disc for 'Il Conformista' which had some audio sync and glitch issues on the original 4K release.

...looks like Eagle Pictures will release this again in their lovely 4Kult line of 4K discs on April 10th...whether it will be region free or not I do not know.

If it is, you can simply order it from Amazon Italy.

Bought this 4K disc (the first release) a couple of months ago but only got round to watching it recently. Looks and sounds superb. Happy to have such a nice transfer for this epic. First time revisiting since seeing it at the cinema. The film definitely feels shorter than its actual running time.
