Default The Expanse - figures by Nacelle - Kickstarter for 2025 release

https://www.youtube.com/supported_br...tube.com/watch

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...action-figures

Press release:

'The Expanse' Officially Licensed Action Figures from Nacelle Company and Alcon. The Kickstarter is NOW LIVE!

The campaign includes figures of James Holden (Steven Strait), Naomi Nagata (Dominique Tipper), Amos Burton (Wes Chatham), Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo), Camina Drummer (Cara Gee), Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams), Detective Josephus Miller (Thomas Jane) and the Protomolecule Hybrid! Each figure comes with character-specific, highly detailed accessories.

The Expanse, a series with a reputation for being a genre-defining, medium-jumping masterpiece - will, yet again, enter a territory it’s never explored before. Nacelle, in partnership with Alcon Television Group, is proud to present the first ever officially licensed action figure line of characters & accessories from The Expanse! By backing this campaign on Kickstarter, fans can collect seven of the bravest and most beloved characters of The Expanse (as well as one VERY intimidating Protomolecular hybrid). These eight figures have been painstakingly designed and crafted with impeccable detail, from the boots to the bottles of liquor. Each of them comes packaged in a gorgeous collector-friendly box, with 18-points of articulation, and a minimum of 4 character-specific, fan-requested accessories so you can recreate your favorite scenes from the show.

The head of Nacelle, Brian Volk-Weiss, announced this week that they’ve secured the license to Star Trek (up thru Enterprise), and he said in interviews that The Expanse figures led directly to that deal. I.e., Paramount was impressed.

Like The Expanse figures, the Trek figures will be six to seven inches - closer to seven - which by chance puts them very close in scale to the 20 year old Art Asylum Trek figures (which were about 7 1/2 inches for most human characters).

FYI The Expanse action figures are on their way. Apparently the shipment got hit with the highest 145% fee since by chance that was the rate the US started charging as they were passing through. Just bad timing. But, the good news is distribution to customers is expected to happen in a couple months.
