Default Zavvi selling movies to Australia again

Not sure how long ago this changed, or if anyone else has mentioned it here. But I can now purchase movies again from Zavvi.com.au.

Just figured I'd make a point of it in case anyone cared.

I made an order yesterday, as I was looking for somewhere to preorder the Psycho Story Continues 4K.

Legend!! I've had to use Youshop package fowarder to get my Zavvi steelbooks shipped to NZ lately. This will save me quite a bit of $$ in shipping going forward

I had to search specifically for blu-ray and they appeared in the search results. I was able to place an order with international shipping, so perhaps they are still making changing to the site?

Sent them an email few weeks ago when i seen that you could order some 4k on preorder to Australia, this is the reply.
This market is currently closed however we are reviewing this within the next year. Unfortunately, we don't have a time frame.

I've received the Psycho II-IV and Hellraiser I-IV 4K sets from Zavvi and they actually arrived in a cardboard box in mint condition. Little slow as per usual but happy they got here all the same.

in one of the other threads this was talked about , they no longer belong to thehutgroup and separation is complete

dosnt seem like the full range is on there site when i last looked some things still wont ship and i think its like 14 AUD per item or somthing or 14 bucks minimum

they will want to improve Fast because -
shipping and bad customer service Kept me Away From them along with expensive shipping and slow shipping ( at times)
so along with the reduced range

if they cant improve there are other retailers that will continue to get my $ like rarewaves.

Been a while since I ordered from Zavvi and they usually use bubble mailers to ship steelbooks. Not sure about Amazon, they can be hit or miss

I think I remember some steelbooks coming in cardboard packaging. But it's been a while so I can remember specifics. My one and only delivery since they started up again was packed properly but there were no steelbooks.

In addition to that, I received a regular 4K keepcase release from Zavvi today and it came packed in cardboard with some padding paper wrapped around it.

It did take 2 1/2 weeks though, but count me impressed thus far.

Got my first parcel since Zavvi resumed sales to Australia.

It was one disc out of an order for four. It can in a box that could fit about 6 or 7 with plenty of inflated little plastic bags. Everything was in perfect condition.

I had used Zavvi.com.au regularly until the stopped that.

The main benefit for me was with UK title pre-orders with credit card.
1) They did not take the money until a few days before release. So I could budget ahead.
2) They had a simple process to cancel items from an order (found cheaper elsewhere, going over budget or just changed my mind).
3) When they tried to take the pre-order money and my credit card was declined for being max'd out, they would give me option to cancel the item or put extra money on my card and have them try again.

Most other places with pre-orders take the money up front.

From memory with Zavvi I got single titles in either a bubble mailer or a cardboard mailer. Multiple titles or a boxset or hardcase release would be in a cardboard mailer. Usually took 3 weeks to arrive. Very rarely did I have any damage.
But I don't collect steelbooks.

Anyone having problems with deliveries recently?

I had four seperate its all marked 'out for delivery' on 9 June.

For one of the items I did get an email saying it would be delivered that day (9 Jun) and it was.

But still no movement from the other three sitting someone in Australia (Sydney I think) all just showing 'out for delivery'. Anyone ever had any experience dealing with the delivery services DAI?

I'm sort of included to just hold out til sometime early next week and then contact them for a follow up.

I had one sitting in "received by carrier" status for a week until all of a sudden it was delivered without any notification.
