Speaking of expensive... sounds like you're gonna need something like those Pinnacles for that AV10!

Which by the way, did those AV10 issues get resolved?

I noticed something about the Ultra Evolutions that no one has been mentioning anywhere... they are all 6ohm whereas all other SVS loudspeakers have been 8 ohm so far

Too funny, I was coming back here to mention that, only saw it just yesterday. Interesting indeed.

I saw it, I just didn't think it was a big deal.

Surely not, but definitely something worth knowing especially since all their previous offerings have all been 8 ohm. I'm honestly surprised they didn't mention it prior. I just happened to stumble upon it yesterday when I was looking at the specs for the weight on the Pinnacles (95 pounds each).

Yep, same. I truly hope they knock it out of the park to further complicate my future finances.

I meant it wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't think anything of it. My bad.

But for that matter, they aren't terribly inefficient, either. I doubt AVR internal amps will have any problem driving them. And most will have a higher crossover point anyway for center and effect channels, and likely even the mains. Full range on the mains though, I'd want an external amp for music, especially that quad design with the Pinnacles.

So then who's gonna be first to order ? Or even at least to try out? I've had perpetual pages open in my browser on the white Paradigm and Titan the last few days. If I didn't have that monthly tuition bill... dam* private schools.

I just had some new LPs arrive. I'm gonna cut out of work for the day and go rip them open, fire up my system and forget about them for a while lol.

(Finger on nose) Not it! I am notoriously slow on purchases this large and even then I'm always reluctant to buy the first iteration of anything although it does seem as though SVS has been working on these for a long time and weren't going to just toss them out there willy-nilly.

Looks like the elevations didn't get an upgrade. I noticed because at the moment I am running a 5.1, and hope to get some Atmos before the end of the year.

Has the same new diamond coated/infused tweeter as the rest of the series and the midrange is an inch bigger from 4.5" to 5.5" now

Pricewise/value.. I would go with the original Elevations still. Of course I got lucky x2: I won a pair from SVS Audiofile happy hour and then bought my second pair while they were still $400 a pair

I just read that the evolutions made more room for banana plugs when flush mounted

I'm interested to see how the Pinnacle and Titan perform with music (2-channel full range an no sub) close to a wall vs further in the room. I was thinking they'd need to be as far from the wall as possible, but I just chatted with SVS and they indicated rear and sidewalls aren't an issue, but they recommend at least 6" space.

I have my bonus due to arrive next week... unfortunately it's spoken for. <sigh>
